Sheep pelt is only a by-product that is then tanned and refined.
German heather leather can be used as a cozy blanket on a sofa, a warm cover for a chair, armchair or bench (both inside and outside).

Skin is not dyed or bleached, so it does not contain harmful substances.
Initially German heather pelt may have a slight, natural scent that will evaporate over time.
Due to ecological tanning, lambskin is not suitable for washing.
Regular shaking, brushing, gentle dusting and airing are enough to keep it in beautiful condition.
In case of severe dirt, we recommend cleaning in a dry cleaner.
