Shearling - That is, natural leather from shorn sheep, properly tanned. It has two sides - one suede and the other pelt. Shearling clothes are usually sewn in such a way that the suede side is on the outside, while the sheep fleece is a soft and pleasant inner layer. Real, natural shearling can be recognized by the fact that it is breathable and much more flexible than synthetic. It is heavier, has denser pelt, and the suede side is dull and sticky to the touch.
